Crazy day

23th sept is a crazy day.First of all, i woke up at 9 plus just to go to the registration of the Nike Human Race 2009. All along i felt it was a stupid famous race and knew it will be crowded with idiots cos its only 10km, but dunno why, since i had nothing to do till work at night, i decided to join vic jingyang and chum to register. Vic came to my house at 10 plus and we rode on my bike to town, wisma where it was held. After finally finding a car park after gg 2 rounds round town, there was no more slots.. and since we were rushing to queue up, i parked illegally beside the slots, which then later ill regret it so much. Okay, then arriving at wisma, to our horror, the queue was so long, the weather was so hot, but still lucky we were not too late, cos only 500 slots were available, so the nike staff gave out number stickers to each one queing up. haha we were 456, but this also means a hell of waiting time. After like an hour, the queue did not moved much at all, so we decided to go city hall for dim sum buffet lunch, lol so random la. Took the mrt with em to city hall, we finally found the restaurant. Then actually vic told us it was 9.80 per person for the buffet, but turn out 12 plus. Okay so we still went, and when we finally rdy to order, the waitress came with some nuts and tea, i tot it was normal and start eating then nuts and drink the tea, but then the waitress said 12 plus was not inclusive of service charge and stuffs, e.g. the nuts and tea... haha but then we ordered lots of food man, but since the menu was in chi, we ordered afew not to our taste and had fun forcing it into our mouths haha. Overall the food was nice, but in the end each one of us gotta pay like 17 bucks.. got cheated. After that went back, and like 3 plus, altho the queue was much shorter, still gotta wait very long, haha then we went to heeran Fourskins where chum bought his red shoes, hmmm saw some shirts and shorts which i like, and since i juz got my pay at midnight, maybe one day gg down to check it out again. In the end at 5.30, we were so close alr, and juz nice their system went down. But wasn't a bad thing, cos they ask to take down our particulars and pay for the run first, then call us again to register, and it went so much faster. Okay then gonna go work, after sending vic to np for his futsal, and at my bike, there was the long slim of paper clipped to my tank, and the lovely number on it was $25. Haha and one more thing, i forgotten to take out my cashcard, and those thieves did not missed the chance. Finally at work, haha quite interesting as well, recently we have some new staffs transferred to grand from vivo cos of staff shortage and cos our new managers are frm vivo as well. Since then gv grand has been split into 2 groups, the grand staff and the vivo staff, okay so im kinda in the grand staff but for me at work always juz been my emo self, but the 2 groups dun see eye 2 eye, and finally a arguement broke out. haha the funny thing was that during the arguement during break, i was relaxing outside the garden reading newspaper. then my colleague who argued with the vivo staffs wanted to take a breathe and went out to the garden, haha then he told me after looking at me in my relax pose reading the newspaper, all his anger cooled off alr, lol. so then after work rode home, and now blogging. I wanna watch ugly truth, inglorious bastards, phobia2... |
