End of goal drought; Comeback Kings
Friday, May 8, 2009, 10:30 AM
NAFC vs Laff's friend team 7 : 4 Goalscorers for NAFC - Wen Hao, Clement, Fengyuan, Syakir(2), Jeremy, Wilson An early sat morning, NAFC head down to Yishun, the game started off usually for NAFC where we will concede first. However, there was hope of an early comeback when i scored an equaliser from a beautiful vic pass over the defence, catching the oppo's def offguard and rifled the ball to the roof of the net. Relieve was my emotion when i finally ended my goal drought of at least 26 matches. The opponents regain their lead soon and added another one before the half ended due to another of our defence's carelessness, then the half ended 3-1 down. After the half, the comeback Kings showed their stuffs as we piled up the pressure and finally equalised, the opp fitness was obviously lacking as we push on and scored 3 more, their only effort was the goal of the game when one of the opponent's key players placed his shot from outside the ball nicely into the top corner, a worthy consolation goal. An apology as well as tribute to those who scored, but i only explained mine cos this is my blog, lol. Labels: Kaizen |
